Meet Our Qualified Teachers

Helen Maduka, MA (Cantab), PGCE, MEd, CELTA: Founder, CEO and Teacher of iGCSE English Language, iGCSE English Literature, iGCSE Media Studies and iGCSE Religious Studies

I have always found my greatest sustenance in the pursuit of learning. To me, study is not a chore but a noble calling, and helping a scholar achieve their ultimate potential is my pride and my joy. I affectionately refer to myself as an Academic Personal Trainer. Just as a physical trainer demands precision and grit to transform the body, I demand a clinical focus to transform the mind.

With nearly twenty years of experience in international education and institutional leadership, my career has been dedicated to the mastery of literacy and the architecture of digital pedagogy. My academic foundations were laid at the University of Cambridge, where I earned my BA and MA. I then completed my PGCE via the Teach First Programme in Secondary English, a journey that solidified my commitment to educational equity and high impact leadership in the British sector. Following this, I earned a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame in the United States. These credentials are the forensic proof of the rigour I bring to every Instructional Cell.

Throughout my career in Spain, the United Stated, Germany and within British Boarding Mainstream and Independent schools, I witnessed a heartbreaking pattern. In both elite and impoverished settings, I saw children being failed, neglected, and traumatised by systems that have lost their way. I have seen the bullying and the academic neglect that leaves potential withered.

Things do not have to be this way.

From the comfort of your own home, we provide a specialised, individualised Academic Triage. We eliminate the dead time and the systemic friction found in mainstream and independent institutions alike. In my final institutional role as Whole School Literac Lead, I refined the expertise required to wage war against the modern mental health pandemic. COVID-19 did not create these problems; it merely revealed the rot that was already there.

Passion Education exists to triage these wounds and effect lasting change. We do not just teach; we engineer success. We provide the architectural scaffold for a learned and purposeful life.

Join one of our small group (Max 8) Cells now and reclaim your scholar’s future.
